General Information
Braunschweig is an minor airport of the Regional Group Bremen. vACC Germany Controllers are allowed to control in Kassel (Ground and Tower) without any visiting controller regulations like for major airports (e.g. Hamburg, Berlin) with their S2 or higher Rating. For all Center stations (CTR) covering Braunschweig Airport a Center endorsement is still required.
Ground and Tower positions do not have to track aircrafts. Kassel Airport has no designated Approach Controller.
