Procedures Non-A-CDM Airports

The described procedures are to be applied at the following airports: EDAH, EDHI, EDHL, EDVE, EDVK, EDXW, ETNL and all AFIS/MIL aerodromes

Further information:

Differences to the A-CDM Process

At non-A-CDM airports, the CTOT is calculated based on the EOBT filed in the F-Plan. There will be no TOBT, TSAT or TTOT at non-A-CDM airports.

ATC shall make sure that traffic does not depart before the CTOT window (-5 to +10 minutes). In case of a CTOT, the pushback may be adjusted on the standard taxi time to avoid heavy delay at the holding point.

IFR Clearance

The IFR clearance will be given as normal. In case there is no CTOT displayed in the departure list, ATC may approve start-up together with the IFR clearance. If there is a heavy CTOT delay, ATC may decide to delay the start-up approval.

EOBT and Off-Block

Traffic with no CTOT can push back, taxi and take off at any time. At non-A-CDM airports, the EOBT will be displayed in the TOBT column.

CTOTs

In case of CTOTs, ATC shall always make sure that aircraft depart within the -5 to +10 minute window.

ATC can set a "Ready Status" (REA Message), enabling the system to plan for the best possible CTOT. The "Ready Status" shall be set only when the aircraft reports "ready" and a heavy CTOT delay exists, to improve the slot.

In case a pilot is not able to depart within the CTOT, ATC shall send a new EOBT to generate a new CTOT.
