Frankfurt-Hahn is located around 100 km West of the city of Frankfurt/Main and is known for its low-cost and cargo traffic.
Frankfurt/Hahn is an unrestricted airport. Ground and Tower can be staffed by all controllers with an S1 rating or higher who have passed the required courses (see table below). Sector Eifel (APP) can be staffed by all controllers with an S3 rating or higher.
Training: Controllers with the S2 rating can staff APP during their training (active EDFH_EIF_APP solo endorsement required).
