VMC Minima

  • FlugsichtFlight übervisibility above FL100: 8 km

NachAccording to SERA 5001 dürfenthe dieminima Minimamay be reduced at/below 3000ft AMSL oderor 1000ft above GND (whichever is higher) reduziert werden:

  • Flugsicht: 1500 m, wenn Flugzeuge140 kt IAS oder langsamer fliegen und sich in verkehrsarmen Gebieten befinden
  • Flugsicht: 800 m für Helikopter, wenn sie eine angemessene Geschwindigkeit fliegen, um anderem Verkehr oder Hindernisse ausweichen zu können
  • frei von Wolken und Boden in Sicht

Für das Militär gelten folgende reduzierten VMC Minima at/below 3000ft AMSL oder 1000ft above GND (whichever is higher):

  • Flugsicht:Flight visibility: 1500 m when aircraft are flying 140 kt IAS or slower and are in low traffic areas
  • Flight visibility: 800m for helicopters when flying at a reasonable speed to avoid other traffic or obstacles
  • Clear of clouds and ground in sight

For the military, the following reduced VMC minima apply at/below 3000ft AMSL or 1000ft above GND (whichever is higher):

  • 5 km   Flight fürvisibility: Jets
    • 5km for jets
