For an "easier" start as a pilot on Vatsim, we can provide you with some information. However, the most important thing is that you are motivated to familiarize yourself with new topics and content, especially at the beginning. Even years later, you can still learn a lot of new things, so it never gets boring.

Of course, you can also familiarize yourself with aviation on your own. YouTube videos are usually a good way to do this, showing you the steps involved in flying your aircraft as well as the communication between pilot and air traffic control. Just search for "Vatsim" and an aircraft type or the words "Vatsim Tutorial" and you will definitely find what you are looking for.
